ABOUT EMERALD COAST VOLLEYBALL CLUB :
Emerald Coast Volleyball Club was established in 2012 in response to a need in the community for a local volleyball club. We do our best to get our athletes the exposure necessary to take them to the next level. Most importantly, we work hard as a directing and coaching staff to instill values such as teamwork, commitment, responsibility and leadership in all of our athletes. We truly look at all of the members of our club as family.
We serve athletes in Fort Walton Beach, Navarre, Shalimar, Destin, Baker, Freeport, South Walton, Panama City Beach, Panama City and other surrounding areas.

2024-2025 SEASON NEWS!!
We are so excited to open our tryout registration for the 2024-2025 Season!!! We are changing our tryout procedures a bit to create smaller groups, in an effort to get your athletes more time in front of coaches, as well as to ensure more deliberation time is allowed for coaches, to ensure every athlete is placed in the best situation for their optimum development!!
We've got some exciting things in the works behind the scenes within our coaching team!! We are working hard to give our athletes more reps, more playtime, and more structured and cohesive instruction at practices! We are excited to see how our new training methods will make our practices, and the information and feedback that all of our athletes are receiving, more consistent for all of our teams, regardless of team level or age group!
A few things we will be incorporating this season:
-Less athletes in the gym for tryouts for each session
-Multiple tryout sessions to allow more time to see athletes perform before making final team decisions
-More time left between each session to allow coaches to sit down and discuss athlete's performances while information is fresh on our minds
-More detailed tryout registration process to gather more information on each athlete's goals and interests
-Smaller teams to increase playtime opportunities for all team members
-Lead coaches responsible for implementing practice plans for all teams in their training group. Each team's head and assistant coaches will assist in facilitating practices to ensure consistency in training and information given to every athlete in the gym. This system will also allow our newer coaches to learn from our more experienced coaches.
-Individual team practices for each team's coach to have opportunities to work on team concepts.
-The Introduction of boys programming to ECVC!
It is going to be a fantastic year of growth for our athlete's and we hope you will join us!!
Athletes are required to attend both of their tryout dates!
You must pre register for tryouts! Tryout shirts will be given to all athletes that have registered by July 7th!
Before completing your registration, please send us a close up photo of your athlete to [email protected]. In this photo please have them hold up a piece of paper with their full name and age group for the 2024-2025 season. Please put their full name and "tryout photo" in the subject line. This will help us to expedite the check in line the day of tryouts!
Tryouts will be held at Gulf Coast State College!
